Femme Nuit with Rachael Wilson

In support of the Ottawa Food Bank, we encourage everyone attending the evening’s event to bring as a donation, personal hygiene products for the food bank!

Since 2021, Rachael Wilson has led the Ottawa Food Bank as the first female CEO in the organization’s 39-year history. Prior to that, she was a member of the Ottawa Food Bank’s executive team as the Director, Communications & Development. She has been a professional fundraiser in Ottawa for over 20 years. Rachael believes in the power of change through philanthropy, partnership, and empowerment. She is committed to addressing complex issues by connecting and collaborating with stakeholders, including donors, politicians and those with lived experience. Rachael continues to focus on shifting the role of food banks toward addressing food insecurity through a poverty reduction lens.

Rachael was born and raised in Ottawa. She lives in Orleans with her husband, two children, and her golden retriever.
